A 'Marley' Moment

We came home from a Christmas party to find that apparently there was Mother See's Candy in that package that arrived for Christmas...

Update

So far so good on Rozee's recovery. She is now at 4 days and all she wants to do is run and play. I am a little concerned about the incision sight looking a bit too red, but otherwise she is doing great.

Changes

Rozee is going in to be spayed this morning. I am trying not to think about it. She hates going to the vet and now she will have reason. She has turned out to be very timid. I find that surprising, given how strong willed she was starting out. But we will continue to work on her confidence. She dearly loves playing with Mom and Dad and going for her walks.

Is 5 monthes old today. She is too cute and knows it and has me wrapped around her little dewclaw. Honestly, could you say no to that face?

September

The end of summer, kids start school, the birthday season begins, and always this sense of melancholy. It has always been that way, but now that I am growing older and time slides by so much faster, the passing seasons are just a blur, a momentary hick-up four times a year, just a speed bump really, as if to say, 'are you still awake?" I've always noticed September's the most. A warning to prepare for 'the little death' ahead... Ah, it matches my mood....

Puppies

They are 7 weeks old today and I have only one week left with them. This adventure I didn't plan for, the Lord has used to teach me so much. Prayer and patience, love and laughter. They all blend together with my little doggie family.

Gypsy Cabaret

What a wonderful time I had tonight. I got to indulge in a fantastic dinner and an excellent bellydance show. I so enjoy this art form. There is such an energy and grace with these women that is always so inspiring. Somehow missed the 'joy of jingle-butts' in my younger years. It is only now that I get to appreciate the music and dance. Better late than never. But as always, God's timing is perfect. I need it now. Even if I can't dance with my feet anymore, I can and do Dance with my heart and my soul... leaping and dancing before the Lord. : )
